"The sweet stench of death"
Take a stroll down the streets of York in 1349, when planet earth was on it's knees and a devastating plague had taken hold. Around every corner, the black death lurked. Assume the role of a struggling plague doctor, as you explore the sweet stench of death, smelt through a beak of bright floral top notes. At the base of this blend, comes the unmistakable smell of decomposing flesh and raw, wet earth, which is mixed with a slight faecal tone, which propels the floral tones forward. The base tones round off the scent profile and make it confusingly pleasant! This blend is a true curiosity; something so repellent somehow becomes something enjoyable. It was the very first candle which we created and it set the standard for all Room Spell candles - daringly different and ultra strong scent profiles. It is as close as we dare to get to the overwhelming sickly sweet hum of a rotting corpse. It is obviously an acquired taste; not a scent profile for the faint-hearted!
